Good as they were, LG's previous flagship phones, the Optimus G and the Optimus G Pro, suffered from delays in availability, which dampened much of the enthusiasm that LG had managed to drum up at their launch.

The Korean manufacturer vowed to not make the same mistake with the G2, launched on September 7. According to LG, the G2 will enjoy a much smoother rollout, with 130 operators from around the world lined up to carry it within 60 days from launch.

So far, so good: the G2 has already made its debut in its native Korea, where people literally hurt each other to get a free unit, and now British mobile retailer Clove announces that the 5.2-inch phone is available for pre-order.

The 16GB G2 was listed by Clove for £468.00 including VAT, which is relatively cheap, considering that the slightly older Samsung Galaxy S4 goes for £528. According to a blog post that the retailer put up to announce the listing, the G2 is expected in late September, though no precise release date has been announced.

The LG G2 will also reach UK customers through carrier Three, which announced at launch that it will carry the device "soon".
