Last week we told you about a couple of new features that the Moto X will include called Motorola Connect and Motorola Migrate. Neither was talked about during last week’s DROID event, but it appears that at least the Motorola Connect feature will be compatible with those phones as well. Motorola Connect is a Chrome extension  that allows you to see your text messages and calls via the Chrome browser. Here’s the full description…

Motorola Connect allows you to see text messages and calls coming into your Connect enabled phone on your computer's Chrome browser. You can read and respond to texts using your keyboard and even know who's calling before deciding if you should reach for your phone.

Motorola Connect is currently supported on Moto X, DROID ULTRA, DROID MAXX and DROID MINI.

Motorola Migrate allows you to wirelessly move your photos, videos, SIM contacts, call history, and text history to your new Motorola phone, It appears to be compatible with a number of devices and is available in the Play Store now. I noticed the DROID DNA and the Galaxy S 4 were both compatible, so I would imagine a lot of other phones will be supported. I believe it will already be installed on the Moto X, but we don’t know about the new DROIDs. Here’s the complete description…

One of the biggest pains of a new phone is losing some of your important stuff. Now you can move your photos, videos, SIM contacts and even your call and text history—from your old Android phone to your new Motorola phone in just a few steps, wirelessly.

Motorola Migrate can only transfer media from devices with Android 2.2 (Froyo) and above

We are only a few hours away from getting the complete lowdown on everything Moto X, so if there is more to report on this, we will do so.
