Google Maps Engine Pro aids businesses in visualizing and sharing data
Oct 22nd 2013, 02:47, by Juan Carlos Torres

Google is no stranger to the need to transforms raw data into more meaningful pieces of information. That is why it develops tools that helps ease that process, such as the new Google Maps Engine Pro that lets businesses visualize their resources by putting it right on the map.

This professional mapping tool allows businesses to import all sorts of data in various formats, ranging from names, addresses, office locations, sales, and more. These are then put on a map to help them visualize and analyze the data in aid of decision-making, organization, or planning. The maps, however, aren’t designed to simply be isolated pieces of information. Maps produced from the tool can be shared around within the company or, if necessary, with other related parties as well.

This new tool is, of course built upon the Google Maps Engine platform, which itself is seeing a few enhancements. Primary among these is the launch of a new app for Android. The Google Maps Engine app will allow users to import any custom map created either from Google Maps Engine Pro or Google Maps Engine Lite. The app is available exclusively on Android, giving Google’s mobile platform an edge in the business sector.

The Google Maps Engine app can be downloaded from Google Play Store via the download link below. To help spread the word about the new Maps Engine Pro, Google is offering a free introductory account for free with the only limitation being the number of map queries allowed per day.
