In case you all haven’t noticed, over the past 24 hours Google has just issued the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for a wide array of Nexus devices. In fact every device since the Galaxy Nexus is getting updates as we speak. Well, all but one Galaxy Nexus. We wanted to drop in and remind everyone that we haven’t forgot about the Samsung G-Nex over on Verizon Wireless, one that is now a full 4 updates behind.
P1120372

We are starting to just call this the Samsung Galaxy on Verizon, because the “Nexus” part is basically non-existent. Even Sprint’s G-Nex has Android 4.2.1 yet over here in Big Red land we are stuck a full 4 updates behind the rest of the pack. It’s a shame really. Today along with the Nexus 4, 7, and 10 the GSM Galaxy Nexus is receiving Android 4.2.2 bringing an array of changes and bug fixes. Thanks Google!
No thanks to Verizon, their smartphone is a little behind the times considering it is a Nexus — or was. In fact, many of Samsung’s regular Galaxy S III phones have 4.1.2, which is a later version than Verizon’s Nexus. Back in June 2012 at Google I/O Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was announced to the world. Within a few weeks it had arrived for the HSPA+ version, and even the aging XOOM tablet. Yet Verizon never delivered the treat in a timely manor. The Verizon G-Nex received Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean over 3 months after it was announced and two months behind the others.
Verizon customers didn’t officially get it until late September. For those not keeping track at home, we’re now on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Since Verizon last updated their Galaxy Nexus to 4.1.1 we’ve seen 4.1.2 arrive, followed by the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with tons of features. Things like gesture typing on an improved keyboard, Photosphere camera, expandable notifications, a better faster Google Now and more. Not to mention with 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 (that makes us 4 behind) a new unlock screen with widgets, shortcuts and more.
P1120369
So what we’re getting at is Google’s released and improved tons of features and options for Android, all which are things we are not able to enjoy on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. The last update was in September to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, and we’ve not heard a peep, seen a leak, or any evidence to think an update is in the works.
Hopefully someone over at Google and Verizon are working on something, but we have our doubts. Now we know why the Nexus 4 wasn’t tied to any specific carrier, and with good reason. Thankfully the Android community of loyal developers have kept the Verizon (toro) Nexus alive and kicking, and that won’t be stopping anytime soon.

The latest update for SwiftKey Flow Beta has arrived. The app, as implied by the name, remains in beta which means those looking to play with the latest will need to download the APK file from the SwiftKey website. This update has brought the app up to version 4.0.0.99 and it can be found in two versions — one for smartphones and one for tablets. The smartphone version is 5.8MB in size and the tablet version is 6.6MB in size.
Os6YETZ-dEvUl910C3d08Y66zDZJ7Lf0a8cYI_s4ID8-540x2661

Basic details out of the way, lets get into what this update has brought, and yes, it is a decent sized list of fixes. The list begins with a fix for crash that was happening when changing keyboards and goes on to mention a fix for the force close issue on clicking the language update and “other” crashes. It was also noted that the “majority” of non-English punctuation problems should now be resolved.
This update also brought a new look for the installer, which will now match the SwiftKey Flow colors and include an introduction video as well as making sure the Chrome Beta app performs like Chrome and reduced memory usage of settings. Other notable items include having the microphone key disabled in fields where voice input is not supported and more to include replacing “learnt” with “learned” in the US English personalization page. You can check out the complete list of changes on the SwiftKey Flow blog.
Otherwise, while there was quite a few fixes, there are also still some issues. For example, the known issues list includes items such as the flowing words sometimes resulting in surprising capitalizations, crashing when looking at the heatmap and predictions sometimes going blank when switching between languages. With that, those looking to give this latest beta release some testing can grab the APK files using the link below.

Google’s support page accidentally leaked out what appears to be a Google Now widget. This is most likely a dream come true for those of you avid Google Now users. The widget is very simplistic, displaying 3 cards in a small 4×2 box.
The Google Now Widget Accidentally Leaks Out Through The Google Support Page

According to the support page, the Google Now widget can be used either on your home screen or your lock screen. Clicking on one of the cards will bring you to its section in Google Now. The cards displayed in the widget will most likely be based on your preference.
There's no release date planned yet on when we'll see this on our devices, but judging from the fact that there is already a support page for it, we're guessing it shouldn't be too long from now. It is still unknown whether the widget will be available through a system update, or directly from the Google Play store.

For those of you who don't yet know about Google Now, it's a great service that provides you with up-to-date information on a wide variety of things. You can check appointments, upcoming events, restaurant reviews, weather, scores, flight times, and much more. Google Now is also just getting started. They've recently added support for digital boarding passes, college sports, and public alerts. We expect that they'll add a bunch of new features in the near future.

It appears as if the Plex for Android app will soon be getting a makeover. In fact, the folks at Plex are describing this as being completely rewritten from scratch and with new features to include lock-screen music controls and global search integration. On the flip side of the new features though, this updated release of Plex for Android will remove support for some older devices.
plex

Details show that the updated app will support Android 3.2 or later, which is a change from the currently supported 1.6 or later. Given some of the comments from Plex, we are not all that sure the change will make a huge difference anyway. It was said that “almost” 90 percent of the Plex users are running 4.0 or later.
Device support aside, Plex for Android users should be on the lookout for the app, which is said to coming sometime this week. The app will initially be available for PlexPass subscribers and it will be launching as a beta. No mention as to how long the beta period will last, however it was said that once out of beta, the app will be available as a free upgrade for current Plex for Android users.
In terms of the app itself, it will bring goodies to include paging and infinite scrolling and network data compression. Those who regularly use Plex/Web should also appreciate the filters as they are said to be the same. Some of the other goodies are being touted as a powerful new video player, an improved search experience (including the previously mentioned global search integration), the ability to recommend videos to friends, the ability to share videos on Facebook, on-device notifications and the ability to sync media to your device. As if that was not enough of a teaser — this update will also turn your Android device into a media server allowing you to stream between devices.

Just as we expected NVIDIA is back with another quick video this week teasing just how awesome their upcoming Android-powered portable gaming console truly is. In a new series every Monday and Thursday we’ll be bringing you the latest ideas and content from NVIDIA. Today they’re featuring Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Not the Android version either, the full graphic intensive PC title right on Project SHIELD.
Screen Shot 2013-02-12 at 9.38.30 AM

Now a big part of Project SHIELD is being able to play essentially any game available all from the new portable console. You should already all know plenty about it, and don’t forget to enjoy our SHIELD Hands-on coverage. Last week and during the announcement they focused on Steam integration for PC games, but today they are showing off other ways to game.
In this week’s Monday episode they show we can also play PC titles from EA and others that aren’t on Steam, all using NVIDIA’s SHIELD app that will be available from the Google Play Store. You’ll have to have a GTX-enabled graphics card in a nearby PC to enjoy it this way, but then you also can play with the maximum graphics ever imagined all simply on a portable Tegra 4 powered Android device.

Now there’s an old joke in the PC gaming world that goes a bit like this: Can it play Crysis? And that’s basically because the original Crysis put nearly all PC’s to their knee’s it was so impressive. Now I can happily answer all those trolls that say, “Well, can it play Crysis?” and I’ll show them doing just that from a portable device no less. Awesome right!
NVIDIA calls it an “uncompromised gaming experience in a truly portable device.” and if you weren’t sold yet, you should be soon. The point NVIDIA is making here is that you can play the hundreds of thousands of Android titles, and virtually any PC game imaginable as long as you have an NVIDIA powered graphics card and their GeForce Experience software. We’ll update when we learn more and stay tuned for the Android Thursdays video when they show something more directly related to us. For now check out the Tegra Hub for more NVIDIA Android news.

We had seen a few reports of Android 4.2.2 back in January, and even word a few days back suggesting the update was coming this month. Well, it now appears as if Google has begun rolling out v4.2.2 to the masses. And by masses, we mean those with a Nexus branded device. So far we have seen reports of users getting the update on the Nexus 7 and 10 tablets as well as the Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus smartphones.
13 - 1

As always, those with a Nexus device have a few options to consider — sit back and wait for the update notification to arrive or take the pro-active approach and try to get it now. We suspect the latter will be the popular route and that being the case — you will need to navigate to Menu -> Settings -> About tablet -> System updates. Of course, that does not guarantee and update will be available just yet.
In fact, a quick check of the Nexus 7 sitting on the desk returns a message that the “system is up to date.” Looking for the update aside, we have yet to see much in terms of what the update brings. Google had previously said the Bluetooth A2DP audio streaming fix would be arriving in the next version, which at the time the current version was 4.2.1. Otherwise, the best we have seen mentions that Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean “improves performance and stability.”
Aside from 4.2.2, the update is arriving with build number JDQ39, which can be seen in the above image courtesy of Marco Duran . Given this is a point release, going from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 we are not expecting anything big in terms of new features. More specifically, this update will likely contain nothing more than some fixes and other minor improvements. If nothing else, this could be a nice step before we see Key Lime Pie announced which will hopefully be during Google I/O.

It looks like Alcatel has unveiled a new smartphone ahead of Mobile World Congress. The handset is the One Touch Star and judging from the spec sheet, it looks like it will be arriving with a relatively low price point. The catch here, while Alcatel has unveiled the handset and even posted some official details, we have yet to learn when it will be available or how much it will be selling for.
alcatel-one-touch-star

Needless to say, given the timing we expect we will hear more about the One Touch Star later in the month. That out of the way, lets get into the details that we do know — the specs. The One Touch Star will arrive sporting a 4.0-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display, dual-core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (with 2.4GB available), a microSD card slot, 1500 mAh battery, VGA quality front-facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
onetouch star
Connectivity will include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n along with GSM Quadband (850/900/1800/1900), UTMS (900/2100) and HSPA, HSDPA and HSUPA. The handset will also have Bluetooth 4.0. Alcatel has also said the One Touch Star will arrive in two models and in a few colors. The two models will include the 6010, a single SIM model and the 6010D, a dual SIM model.
Touching back on the pricing and release details. While nothing official has been revealed, a retail product listing has given some clues. A listing has been discovered with a Swedish retailer showing a price of SEK 2000. For those curious, that is looking like it would be around $315 in terms of US dollars. Hopefully if, or when the One Touch Star arrives in the US it will be bit lower. After all, we have the Nexus 4 to consider.

Project J has been previously associated with Samsung, however in the past it was looking as if that was a codename for the Galaxy S IV. Then of course, the codename for the Galaxy S IV was revealed as being Altius. From that point talk of Project J went quiet, until now. The talk has returned and it is looking like Project J will be a family of three devices.
P1090388-540x303

It appears as if the details are still being worked out, however talk suggests the family will include the Galaxy S IV, a Galaxy S IV Mini and a third device that has yet to be finalized. The Galaxy S IV Mini is said to be using the codename of Serrano and that one of the big differences between the Mini and regular sized Galaxy S IV will be the lack of wireless charging support. Other details for the handset have yet to be revealed, however it was shown that some of the available accessories would include a clear cover, flip cover and protective cover.
The Galaxy S IV is one we have discussed. In fact, judging from the rumors and speculation surrounding this handset — it seems that it is highly anticipated. The third device in the Project J family is an interesting one. The details are still coming into play and it has been said that this is not finalized at the moment. Simply put, this one may be in talks at Samsung, however it may go away before it even gets an official announcement.
The codename for this third device is Fortius and is appears to be some sort of display device. We cannot necessarily call it a smartwatch, but possibly something along that line. The speculation for the Fortius includes the accessory lineup which is made up of a pouch, arm band and bike mount. With that comes the warning, this is speculation based on an accessory list for Project J which is really just to say that things can and likely will change. Still, we are interested in seeing more on the Fortius.

Those looking for handmade and rather expensive smartphone now have a new option to consider, the VERTU TI. This new handset is said to continue the “unique tradition of peerless material selection, elegant design and hand craftsmanship in mobile devices.” One of the design features includes the titanium casing that is described as being of incredible strength and an optimized weight. And before we get into any of the other features, we should also share the price point — $9,600. What, you didn’t expect your luxury phone to be priced any less, did you?
Homescreen1_WhiteBG_High Res

Pricing aside though, the folks at VERTU have said that the new TI handset will be available this month and will also bring features to include a 3.7-inch Sapphire crystal screen, dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 64GB of internal storage, Secure NFC, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Yes, apparently shelling out nearly $10,000 cannot even get Jelly Bean.

Of course, a mobile phone such as the VERTU TI is about more than specs and in this case you have access to goodies such as the Vertu key which gives 24/7 access to services to include Certainty, Life and Concierge Service. The VERTU TI is also a handmade device. In fact, it is touted as being “handmade in England by a single craftsman.” The TI comes with some assurances in terms of durability. The handset has been tested in various ways including a display impact test, deformation test and using more than 40 mechanical and environmental tests including temperature, strength and humidity.
We already mentioned the $9,600 price point and that is for the Titanium Black Leather Edition. Those looking to spend a bit more can also look towards the Titanium Pure Black for $11,500, the Titanium Black Alligator for $12,800 or the Black PVD Titanium Red Gold Mixed Metals edition for $19,900.

We are still expecting something exciting to come from LG during Mobile World Congress, however they have recently made an announcement. This latest is for the LG Optimus L Series II which will include the Optimus L7 II, L5 II and the L3 II. LG notes that the Optimus L Series II will bring a “more refined touch” and is aimed at continuing the momentum they saw with the original Optimus L Series. Of course, for those not familiar with those numbers — LG sold more than 10 million in the first 10 months.
Optimus_L_Series_II_3_L5_L7_L3

The Optimus L7 II will be the top handset in this new lineup and will also be the first to debut. LG has said the handset will be available beginning this week. The first (and currently only country noted) for release is Russia and they will be getting a dual SIM version. Other specs for the Optimus L7 II include a 4.3-inch WVGA IPS display, dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8225 processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 2460 mAh battery, VGA quality front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.
Specs for the Optimus L5 II and L3 II have yet to be fully detailed, however LG has said they will have a 4.0-inch WVGA and 3.2-inch QVGA IPS display respectively. The L5 II will have a 1700 mAh battery and the L3 II will have a 1540 mAh battery. These handsets will debut with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and so far, LG has only said that the L5 II and L3 II availability will be announced at a later date.
In addition to the hardware, LG also seems to be focused on the software and user experience. Some of the details noted as coming with the L7 II include QSlide and QuickTranslator. In general, the Optimus L Series II will also have goodies to include QuickMemo, Quick Button and Safety Care. The Safety Care app is interesting in that it offers three options including Emergency Call Forwarding, Phone Non-Usage Notice and My Location Notice – which will allow you to easily contact a loved one in case of an emergency.

Fitbit announced details about wireless sync on Android back in January and since then — we have been anxiously waiting for the update to arrive. Simply put, the latest Fitbit for Android app update has added just that. The wireless syncing is noted as being in beta and only available for select devices. The supported device list includes the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II.
fitbit-01

Like we said, select devices. Needless to say, as a Fitbit user with a Galaxy S III, I was anxious to cut out the need to sync with a computer and have the syncing moved directly to the device. First things first though, this Fitbit for Android app update brings the version number up to 1.5 and it can be found in the Google Play Store (download link). The big addition with this update is the wireless sync, but that is not the only new feature that has been added.
fitbit-02
Touching on the wireless sync and we can say this — if you are an existing Fitbit user the set-up is quick and painless. In fact, after you update the app on your device you will see a new addition on your dashboard. The new addition is called “Wirelessly sync” and from here, simply click the pink “Device Settings” button. From that point you need to make sure the “Background sync” option is checked and things magically begin to work. This also means you can remove the USB dongle from your computer because you shouldn’t need that moving forward.
fitbit-03
I updated my app and turned the background sync on a few hours earlier and while I cannot comment on long term battery hits, the app does seem to be working nicely. The fact that this is a beta did cause me some concern, however I have yet to see a crash or experience any other issues. I cannot say it will continue to work perfectly, however it seems safe and stable enough where I would suggest others are good to update. Touching on the syncing, this is done over Bluetooth, more specifically, Bluetooth 4.0 which should help in terms of battery life.
Otherwise, aside from the wireless sync, this update also added a push notifications setting in the app as well as a distance tile on the dashboard, the ability to create and edit silent alarms and support for the international food database. All said and done, this update should be good news for Fitbit users that happen to be carrying a Galaxy S III or Note II. As for other Android users, nothing specific was given however the Fitbit team has said that support for additional devices will be “available shortly.”

Today the folks from Verizon have confirmed that their popular HTC DROID DNA will be getting its first software update since launching last year. The 5-inch 1080p smartphone will be getting a slew of bug fixes that should surely enhance this already epic smartphone. They aren’t delivering the latest version of Android, but there’s a number of important bug fixes so read on for the full report.
droiddnaac-540x303

Today as usual, Verizon’s confirmed the update is coming soon on their official support page. Post update the DROID DNA will be updated to build 2.04.605.2 and sadly you’ll still be on Android 4.1 and not 4.2 Jelly Bean. However, there’s tons of fixes to audio, WiFi, Bluetooth, mobile hotspot and more. Check it out below in their official changelog.
Screen Shot 2013-02-11 at 4.07.59 PM
Verizon mentions new features for HuluPlus, hotspot connectivity improvements, better audio for headphones and the earpiece both, bluetooth, WiFi, and even improved zoom on the browser in some fashion. Interestingly the changelog also mentions “enhanced recent apps functionality has been improved” — which is their version of Android multitasking — something many complain about when talking about HTC Sense UI. It will be interesting to see what’s new there, so we’ll be on the lookout for the update.
For now there’s no signs or reports this is rolling out yet, but once Verizon posts the details we usually see them arrive within 2-4 days. The file is rather large coming in over 100mb in size, so might take a few moments to download. As usual you’ll be notified once the update is available, or be checking for updates periodically and hopefully it comes soon. Drop us a comment below once you receive it and let us know how it all goes.

The popular game publisher Activision who is responsible for many of the Call of Duty games have just released a neat new game on the Google Play Store. Everything you love about the fun and goofy hit TV show Wipeout is now available for our Android smartphones and tablets. Yup, Activision Publishing Co has just released the game this afternoon. Read on to find out all the details.
wipeout

Based and designed off the hit TV game show Wipeout, you’ll be dodging huge wipeout balls, running up ramps, and jumping over obstacles as long as you can manage. You’ll get to run, jump and dive through many of your favorite challenges designed right from the hit TV show. Interesting right? The graphics sure aren’t all that great, and we received terrible iOS screenshots, but hey the game is only $1.99 at the moment.
unnamed
Since many of you guys (myself included) will never get to participate in the fun that ABC shows us on TV with Wipeout, you’ll get to enjoy a few of those moments with the official game. I’m sure they could have released a much better game, but it looks pretty fun from the few screenshots available.
Just like the TV show you’ll be trying to clear levels. You’ll be earning points for clearing them safely, or also be rewarded points for terrible and ridiculous wipeouts. All those style points you earn will unlock new contestants, shows, different costumes and even power-up options. Apparently the Slo-Mo helmet power-up is worth saving for, so that’s a thing. They even offer an instant replay in slow motion so you can enjoy the best wipeouts right on your phone. Give it a try today from the link below.

Last week multiple reports and a few pictures surfaced of what appeared to be a titanium or ‘platinum’ colored Motorola DROID RAZR M from Verizon Wireless with Blue accents rather than the typical Verizon Red. After it appeared on Best Buy’s site it looks like Motorola has also officially confirmed the device, and it’s available now.
7457465cv2a

Essentially what we have here is the exact same DROID RAZR M we’ve already reviewed (and loved) coming in another color from those guys at Motorola. This isn’t the first time they’ve released another flavor of this device either. Initial leaks suggested a white model was in the works which ended up getting released along side the black flavor, then they’ve also released a Pink model for the lady in your life.
After hitting Best Buy last week without any details from either party we’ve received a few tips and can confirm Motorola’s announced the smartphone last week. Interestingly enough they dropped a quick message over on the Motorola Blog, but that was the only details given regarding the limited edition smartphone.
For those interested, you’ll get the same 4.3-inch qHD edge-to-edge display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 8GB of storage. This neat little phone packs a 2,000 mAh battery and 4G LTE so should be plenty fast, yet last all day. Motorola states this ‘limited edition’ platinum color is in limited quantities but can be had for the same $49.99 price and a new 2-year contract from Best Buy locations. Enjoy, and get it while it’s hot!

Last week we mentioned the Pebble Notifier app that tied in with Tasker notifications and as of today it looks like we have a similar app update. This latest is for the Light Flow app and in addition to adding support for the Pebble smartwatch, Light Flow users are also getting a few fixes as well as support for a handful of other apps.
pebble_smartwatch_hands-on_sg_4-540x339

To begin with, this update brings the Light Flow app up to version 3.5.2. The support for the Pebble covers a few aspects. To begin with, Light Flow users will be able to push notifications over to their watch. The nice part here, Light Flow currently supports quite a bit more than the Pebble in terms of notifications. The set-up process is simple enough and users should look for the “Send to Pebble” option in the Notification tab. Make sure that is checked and those particular alerts will be sent to your wrist. The other Pebble bit includes the ability to get a notification light or sound from your phone when you are connected or disconnected from your watch.
This Light Flow update took care of issues that IM+ users were having with notifications and also fixed an issue that “some” devices were having with screen flickering. Otherwise, in addition to the Pebble support, this update also added support for the following apps; Slice, Kicker, Private SMS and call, Slices for Twitter, FolderSync, Timesheet – Time Tracker, Time Recording – Timesheet App, WordOn HD, UK Weather Forecast and Vkontakte Kate Mobile.
For those not as familiar with the Light Flow app, there are two versions available in the Google Play Store. Users can look for Light Flow Lite which is free and Light Flow which will set you back $2.99. Basically, if you are using Light Flow and either have a Pebble or are awaiting delivery of one — now seems like as good a time as any to download this update and begin getting things set up.

We’ve all seen and probably used tons of different battery meters, widgets, and mods in the past but today we have our personal favorite to share with everyone. Yes, crazy as it sounds it’s actually called ‘Battery Widget? Reborn!’ and today is even being featured by Google with their new wireless charging orb in the Play Store. Goofy punctuation aside, this is hands down one of the best battery widget apps I’ve come across and it’s available in beta for free, or a Pro version as we speak.

If you’ve been looking for a neat, simple, clean, and elegant battery meter and widget that has more custom settings and options than you’ll ever need — then look no further. This app does it all. For starters, it has an elegant and simple Holo-themed user interface, follows the Android guidelines and you can top the tabs on top, or simply swipe through the tabs as usual. The developer, Tomas Hubalek, has added more features than just a battery widget too.
This isn’t just your average battery widget. It will tell you stats, temperature, voltage, battery drain time, recharge to 100% estimates and more. For those wanting to know anything and everything about their battery (aside from what’s killing it) this is for you. They even have an “average long-term stats” that will learn as you use it, and guesstimate how long til battery reaches zero. It’s pretty neat so take a peek below.

Aside from all the neat battery features and resizable widgets (as well as a dock widget for tablets) they also have integrated those notification toggle switches we all love. Most manufacturers like HTC and Samsung have WiFi, Bluetooth, and other toggles in their notification pulldown bar now but for those who don’t — this app provides that too. Everything is highly customizable just as you saw above, and it’s extremely user friendly.
Overall the app is dead simple, neat, extremely polished, and most of all completely free. The free ‘beta’ version is listed to expire at some point but that keeps getting extended. Or you can show your gratitude to the developer by picking up the paid Pro version linked to above. More details can be found from the Google Play Store or the via below.

We had been expecting the Nexus 4 wireless charging orb to launch in February. We had even seen it listed with a few retailers showing a $59.99 price point. And well, it looks like the charging orb is now available for sale. The price is the same as we had seen and the availability is direct from the Google Play Store.

According to the product listing, the Nexus 4 Wireless Charger is available to ship soon — which is “in less then one week.” In addition to the nearly $60 price tag, those making the purchase will also have to add in the cost for shipping as well as sales tax. Simply put, while a cool item to have for your handset, it is certainly not the least expensive method to charge your handset.
Nonetheless, if you have $60 to spend, a wireless charger is a cool accessory to have. As far as the specs and details go, the Wireless Charger is said to be able to charge up your Nexus 4 in four hours. Those making the purchase can expect to get the charger itself as well as a power adapter and microUSB cable. Basically, everything you need to plug it in and have it charging your Nexus 4.
Otherwise, while not necessarily part of the deal, it is interesting to see that Google choose to use the Battery Widget? Reborn! Pro app in the picture of the Nexus 4. For those not familiar with that app, it provides goodies such as basic battery info along with status bar notifications, a charging and discharging chart, widget and more. Finally, those looking for the Nexus 4 Wireless Charger, you can use this link for a direct route to the Play Store.
