White Moto X press shots and new specs join the leak party
Jul 21st 2013, 22:36, by Sean Riley

The Moto X leak party is getting pretty out of hand, I have no idea how the neighbors haven’t called the cops on these hooligans yet.

Today we have press shots much like yesterdays, but this time featuring the white version of the Moto X. It’s beginning to seem a bit curious that despite the persistent customization rumors that we only seem to get official images and ads displaying the phone in a fairly standard black or white.

I’m glad to see it’s not the two tone white back with black front that we saw on the Nexus 4 as this would lend credence to the customization of the phone being the full body rather than a change of back plate as some have suggested.

The fairly mid-range spec sheet has been detailed by us previously and I’ll give the full rundown again below, but one new addition is that the battery was identified as being 2200 mAh and non-removable thanks to the FCC filings. Considering the juice sipping S4 that it is being paired with that should yield solid battery life, however there are plenty of people that hate the inability to swap batteries as needed. An Android Police tipster sent them pictures of an AT&T branded version which should come as little surprise considering the money that is being put into the Moto X campaign this thing better be going everywhere.

  • Dual-Core 1.7GHz Qualcomm S4 with Adreno 320
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 720p screen 4.5-4.7 inches
  • 10MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing
  • 16GB of storage
  • No external storage option
  • 2200 mAh non-removable battery
  • Android 4.2.2
  • 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac WiFi
  • NFC

Despite the endless string of rumors and leaks, Leo Laporte (after attending the private Motorola event at the Googleplex last week) reported that there is still more to discover about the Moto X.

What secrets do you think Motorola could still have up their sleeves with the Moto X?
