We already were 99.999999% sure the upcoming Xperia Z1 camera was going to feature a G Lens since most of the leaked images showed the letter “G” along with “1/2.3″ and “20.7 MP” next to the camera lens on the rear of the device. In case you missed it, Sony has been Tweeting teaser images of the Z1 leading up to their September 4th unveiling, and today’s image is all about the letter “G”. No, this has nothing to do with LG, it has to do with the fact that the Xperia Z1 will in fact sport a G Lens.
Interestingly enough, this image only has the letter “G” next to the lens, so it’s slightly different than previous leaks. The megapixel count isn’t revealed, but we are pretty certain it will be 20MP with the ability to capture 4K video. So, tell us, has Sony “Captured your attention yet?”
