Last week Oppo teased the Rear Touch Panel of the upcoming N1 with some racey images, but today they are giving us a better idea of what to expect with an illustrated image. If you’re thinking this is just a volume rocker and a power button like what the LG G2 is offering, think again. This is actually a touch panel, just like the name suggests. The panel will be just below the camera lens and it gives the user the ability to swipe up, down, left or right using an index finger. The obvious assumption is it will be used for navigating and/or to implement gestures.

Also, apparently “Rear Touch Panel” is only descriptive and not meant to be the actual name of the technology, so Oppo wants you to help name it. It doesn’t appear Oppo is offering anything more than the fact that you picked the official name, but who wouldn’t mind one day in the spotlight?
