Android Etch

Nearly two years ago,  took to Google+ to display the fruits of his labor, pint glasses etched with Google’s bugdroid logo. As expected, Android fans fell in love with his creation and wanted to know where and how they could get them. The time has finally come, thanks to Indiegogo, Android Etch was born.

Android Etch is looking to raise $12,745 to purchase a state of the art laser engraving machine from Epilog Laser Company. The Zing 24 model sports a rotary attachment, a necessary component for etching on curved surfaces, such as pint glasses, is built-to-last, and is made in the USA.

Backers of this campaign have options ranging from $10 – for a single etched pint glass, to $75 – where backers will receive four etched pint glasses, a commemorative cup with the Android KitKat logo, and a custom cup etched with your own design of choice. For a full list of donor perks, you’ll want to check out the official Android Etch campaign description.

If you wish to combine your love of Android and pint glasses, head on over to Indiegogo to back this campaign. The estimated delivery date is February 2014. That means you’ll have your Androidified pint glasses when winter brews are wrapping up and spring seasonals are on the horizon. Delicious.
