Verizon adds Moto X with Moto Maker customizations to web store
Nov 10th 2013, 20:23, by Alex Wagner

Been patiently waiting for Motorola’s Moto Maker customization tool to open up to more US carriers before picking up a Moto X? If you’re on Verizon, your wait may soon be over. Following rumors that Verizon will be added to Moto Maker on November 11, the big red carrier has added a “Moto X – Designed by You” to its online store. The images show a Moto X with a teal backside, Verizon branding and $99.99 price tag. Unfortunately, the device is also listed as being “temporarily out of stock,” so there’s no way to actually buy a unit quite yet.

Moto Maker allows consumers to customize a Moto X by selecting differently-colored front and back covers, volume buttons, a unique boot screen message and more. It’s been one of the most highly-touted features of the Moto X since Motorola took the wraps off of its new flagship earlier this year, but unfortunately for anyone not on AT&T, Moto Maker has only been available with Ma Bell’s version of the Moto X since then as well.

There haven’t been any official announcements made regarding a Moto Maker expansion quite yet, but the appearance of this custom Moto X on Verizon’s web store certainly seems to give credence to the rumors that more US wireless customers will soon get the chance to let their creativity loose on a Moto X of their very own.
