If you’ve been holding out on buying the Moto X because you wanted to customize it with a carrier besides AT&T, today is the day. Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon customers finally have access to the Moto Maker!

Motorola's customization tool allows you to pick from a variety of different colors for both the handset's back cover, front and even the accent. Eventually Motorola will even allow you to choose premium back materials, such as wood — though Motorola has still yet to reveal when this feature is coming.

The customized Moto X will set Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T users back just $100 for the 16GB model or $150 for the 32GB variant.

Now that the Moto X is a few months old, is it still worth picking up? If you don't need the absolute best in specs and a looking for a low-cost contract handset, then absolutely. The Moto X's touchless control and active display technology still make the device an excellent choice for those that value user experience over raw power.

The Moto X is powered by Motorola's X8 mobile computing system, which consists of a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm CPU, an Adreno 320 GPU, a contextual computing core, and a natural language processing core. The handset’s other specs include a 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB storage, a 10.5MP Clear Pixel camera, a 2.1MP front cam, a 2,200 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

What do you think, planning on picking up the Moto X now that the Moto Maker is available to all four major U.S. carriers?
