Rogers Moto X video leak

A new report says that T-Mobile might not have the Moto X in stock once the handset is official, as a deal with Motorola is apparently not finalized.

9to5 Google has it from a source that so far only Verizon, AT&T and Sprint are the major carriers that will sell the Moto X later this year. Pricing details aren't available for the Moto X with these operators, but the handset is expected to be quite affordable:

The X phones will begin shipping to carriers in August and should be ready for back to school. The price is cheap enough for the carriers to subsidize the complete upfront cost, though it isn't certain if they will or not. $300 is the current number being thrown around as the unsubsidized price (Again, like the Nexus 4).

The news that T-Mobile could skip the Moto X is not exactly surprising. In case you've been following the Moto X rumor parade, you have probably noticed that Verizon's, AT&T's and Sprint's Moto X units have all starred in unofficial images, but there was no T-Mobile leak.

Furthermore, there's no FCC filing for a T-Mobile Moto X at this time, and we've seen four of them, for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and U.S. Cellular.

Finally, while release dates aren't available for any of the future Moto X carriers, word on the street is that Verizon will launch it on August 23, followed by U.S. Cellular on August 26.

The handset will be unveiled on August 1, during a special media event taking place in New York.
