So-called "Limited Edition" Droid Ultra surfaces ahead of Verizon press event Jul 23rd 2013, 15:50, by Scott Webster A so-called "Limited Edition" DROID ULTRA has spilled online just hours ahead of Verizon’s big Motorola reveal. Bearing a red racing stripe down the center of the back, the phone looks to be a rare version of the Ultra for special events, promotions, or Verizon employees. The photo shows us the familiar Kevlar coating and Droid-like form factor; we’re assuming the hardware remains the same as the Droid Ultra inside. In fact, we might not even look for this to be a limited edition at all. We previously learned that this color and design was in order for the phone so perhaps this is the standard look of the Droid Maxx or Droid Ultra.
