Nexus 7

After rolling out a new Android 4.3 OTA update (build versions JSS15Q and JWR66Y) for its Nexus devices, Google has posted the factory images and binaries for the Nexus tablets and smartphone versions out there.

In case you haven't updated your Nexus devices to the newest Android 4.3 version, you can get it as follows:

  • JSS15Q is available for the Nexus 7 (2013)
  • JWR66Y is available for the Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 4, Nexus and Galaxy Nexus (yakju and takju variants)

The new Nexus 7 (2013) build fixes the multi-touch and GPS issues that some buyers experience with the tablet, while JWR66Y is expected to bring overall security improvements.

Those of you looking for factory images, or driver binaries for the latest Android 4.3 versions for these Nexus devices can hit the Source links below to get them.

We’ll notice that the Nexus 7 (2013) factory images and binaries for JSS15Q have been posted in a timely manner, suggesting that the previous issues related to such matters may be a thing of the past for Google’s newest Nexus device.
