Samsung's 'Note the date' invitations tap new Galaxy Note for September 4 Aug 5th 2013, 14:23, by Scott Webster Samsung has started sending out invitations for the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 announcement. Set to kick off on September 4, the emails are tagged as “Note the date” instead of the oft-used “save the date”. The play on words could not be any more obvious; we’ve expected the Note 3 to debut this day for a few weeks now. The Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 takes place on the eve of IFA 2013, an annual trade event in Berlin, Germany. The Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to include a screen size of 5.5-inches up to 6.3-inches and has also been tied to 3GB RAM, and Samsung’s new Exynos 5 Octa-core CPU. We’ll find out in less than one month just how big and powerful the next generation of hybrid experience truly can be. As is the case with other recent Samsung events, there will be a live soiree taking place in New York at the same time.
