Just in case you had any doubts about the appearance of the HTC One Max, the image above should confirm to you that HTC is going for the tried and true design that made the One a hit.

The shot emerged on the Chinese website ePrice, a noted purveyor of leaks, along with the phone's main specifications. These include a 5.9-inch SLCD display of Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD support (!), UltraPixel camera with OIS, BoomSound speakers, and a 3,300 mAh battery.

Note that the microSD card support is likely to be specific to the Asian version of the One Max, just like the HTC One featured a removable back cover and microSD card slot in China, but not in the Western markets.

Looking at the image, what strikes me as particularly nice is the thin border around the display and the high display-to-body ratio, but besides those changes, HTC repurposed the winning design it used on the One and the recently unveiled One Mini. The One Max will still be made of aluminum and will be 9.4 mm thick, according to the ePrice post.

No word on stylus support, which is definitely an important feature for any would-be Galaxy Note 3 competitor. It was rumored that HTC will launch the One Max in fall, to compete with the Note 3, but also with the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
