Goophone i5C

We've talked about GooPhone before. The China-based phone maker made itself famous – and infamous – by releasing accurate clones of popular devices, often ahead of their official release in the market. Some of the victims of GooPhone's unapologetic pirating include the Galaxy S line, top HTC devices, and the iPhone.

To go with the first reviews of the iPhone 5c that have just started to hit the web, we present you this hands-on video of the GooPhone i5c, an Android-powered device that costs around $120.

Straight out of Shenzhen, the GooPhone i5c features a dual-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, a 4-inch 960 x 540 display, and a 2000 mAh battery. The phone runs Android 4.2 with an iOS 7 skin on top. Naturally, five colors are available at launch.

If you're wondering why nobody sued GooPhone out of existence, our best guess is "that's how things go in China".
