Update - 174

AT&T, borrowing from the Pantech strategy of bundling, has paired the Sony Tablet P and XPERIA Play in a discounted package for consumers looking to get a smartphone and tablet.  At $100 less than its normal asking price the Tablet P is already a good pickup, however tossing in a PlayStation Phone as well?  We're game.
We'll point out where the catch is just in case you don't see it coming... You've got to sign commitments to both devices, enslaving yourself to AT&T for the next two years.  Of course, things could be worse we suppose.  If you're looking for both a tablet and a smartphone and have a taste for the unconventional, then check out AT&T while the deal lasts.

If you're subscribed to Motorola's website then you've probably received an email this week, advising that the Droid Xyboard tablets were being offered with limited-time promotions.  For those who are not, Motorola is selling both models with $90 in free accessories in the form of portfolio case and HD dock.   The tablets themselves have not changed and the price still remains unchanged at $399 and up for the 8.2-inch and $499 and up for the 10.1-inch model.
It's not a secret that Android tablets could be doing much better and that Motorola has yet to really take off with any of their models.  My question to you is whether or not this limited-time bundle adds all that much value to you.  Would you give it any added thought and consider the package?  Or, would you rather Motorola just shave the price off the tablet itself and sell it that way?

Can $90 in freebies help jump-start Droid Xyboard sales? originally appeared on AndroidGuys.

Sprint today announced yet another Android device from ZTE in the form of the Fury, an entry-level smartphone. Priced at only $20 it's plenty enough for a first-time buyer but that's about it.  If you've ever owned an Android handset then chances are good that you've had this much firepower.  However, this ought to do the trick for Aunt Dianne.
Hardware includes a 1GHz processor, 4GB internal storage, 5-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch display, and your requisite Android details.  Powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the ZTE Fury is a 3G-only phone so don't look for WiMAX or LTE speeds.
The ZTE Fury arrives this Sunday, March 11th with a $19.99 price tag and two-year service agreement.
